This is Chris signing in as coolbikerides today. I ride a Yamaha 650, but we just purchased a Yamaha 1100 in October and the more I ride it the more I think coolbikerides will be riding a red and black Yamaha 650. If he wants the 1100, he'll have to catch me first!!! :)

I ride a 2006 Yamaha Roadliner 1900cc. Right now it is in for custom painting, so I can't wait to get it back and see how it looks! Better yet, can't wait to take it for a ride!

Hey Ian and Chris. Sheila here from sunny Florida!! I knew we were kindred spirits! I ride an 1100 Vstar also! And, will be for a long time! Just LOVE it. Have had it for 3 yrs. Chrome, pipes, XM radio, CB, pod lights, and other goodies.My brother (who does most of the work) says no more goodies!! LOL If I get another bike my dream would be an Ultra Classic. But, until Harley recognizes the fact that shorter women want to ride big bikes and lowers them more...... it may just be a Yamaha Venture!
Someone needs to invent (hint) pneumatic shocks that lower the bike at 3mph and raises it at 6mph (or something like that! 
Will you be at Bike Week??

I wish! We won't make it down this year but I'm hoping to get down there next year. We're going on a cruise next week (whole family) so that's killing our vacation funds for this year... I'm hoping to get down to Kissimmee this spring but we'll see. If we get down there, maybe I'll rent a bike and we can hook up. Mark Drinkwine (Hayward) is down in the Orlando area and rides, though he sold his bike this past year to help pay for the wedding. Maybe I can get him out with us too.

Hey Sheila, so glad to see that you are keeping in touch. I think Bike Week in Daytona will be next spring. My boss owns properties in Kissimmee that I get to stay at for little to nothing, and I understand that it's only an hour away from all of the fun. If we are able to do that we'll have to hook up.

Sorry you'll both miss it. I'd be going this weekend and next but have a concert on Sat (tomorrow) night so just going next week. Th, Fri, Sat, and Sun!! Can't wait! A little chilly her (ooppps sorry) so I may be wearing the chaps!! YEAH!!!
I'd love to try to hook up if you get to Kissimmee!! Let me know!!
