Does anyone know how I would go about organizing a fundraiser ride, party, etc. My son's best friend came to visit us from New Hampshire. We live in Connecticut. While he was here he was hit by a car. That was a month ago. He has 8 broken ribs, a fractured skull, a broken shoulder and spinal damage. So far he still can not feel or move his legs or be transfered back to New Hampshire. His Mother drove here from Tennesse, the night it happened. Since she got here she has spent over $1000 just in gas. His Father goes back and forth to NH, but is not getting much work. We have been doing all we can, but we can't support his family and ours for much longer. His Father is a member of Connecticut Valley Riders, but we asked them to step up weeks ago and got no response. Sorry this is so long, but I just wanted to explain why I needed any info possible about organizing a ride or party or any other ideas you may have. Thanx Tami203 LT90@comcast.net

Organizing a ride or party is really a matter of planning and promoting. The planning is the hardest part as you need to find a place to start, organize the food/entertainment, and then create the tickets and fliers and finally get the word out. If you're doing a ride would also include planning the ride itself.
If you'd like some help, contact me directly at icreswell@coolbikerides.com or look up my number on the website's contact page and give me a shout.
Best regards,
Ian
