It depends on who in my household you talk to. Last year we took turns riding the Yamaha Vstar 650, but we bought a Yamaha V star 1100 in October. We both initially assumed it would be the "his" bike until I got to ride it a couple of weeks back. Now, I say this....I ride a Yamaha V star 1100!!!!
He can ride what ever bike by posterior isn't riding!!!
Hey Barb. Nice ride! How tall are you? I'm not totally ready to trade in my 1100 Vstar but when I do I will be looking at the following.... any insight? You too Chris. Ultra Classic or Roadglide, Roadliner or Roadstar or Venture or Victory (new cruiser). Sheila
Hi Sheila, I don't know if I can give you much advice since the only bikes I've driven were the two that we own and the 250 that they had at the safety course. I think Barb would be better helping you out there, she has a few years of riding time on me.
I can tell you this, I went this last year to a Harley dealership with my sister. She was being paid to "shop" them to see how their service was. Anyhow, I had the opportunity to sit on a few bikes and the most comfortable bike to just sit on was the Harley Custom. The only problem is that you and I are both vertically challenged and I'm not sure it would have been low enough without the 3 inch boots I was wearing. (I don't like to wear a healed boot when I ride).
